The Bernard Ghert Award of Resident Excellence in Patient Focused Care was established in 2002 in recognition of Mr. Bernard Ghert’s outstanding tenure as Chairman of the Board from 1997 to 2002. The award recognizes his long-standing commitment to excellence in patient care, teaching and research at Mount Sinai Hospital.
